Toll House Cookies

Ingredients

  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. Mix the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix the egg and vanilla essence.
  4. Mix the two mixtures together lightly.
  5. Sift together the flour, soda and salt.
  6. Mix the two mixtures again.
  7. If using chocolate pieces, cut it up into small bits.
  8. Stir in in the chocolate.
  9. Grease a baking tray
  10. Add heaped teaspoons with good spacing.
  11. Bake at 180°C for around 15 minutes.
