Ingredients
- 4oz plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 pint of milk
- 1/2 tsp of melted butter
- Sieve the flour and salt.
- Mix in the egg and butter, gradually adding the milk.
- Mix until smooth.
- Thoroughly heat your pan, then melt and spread a small piece of butter over it.
- Pour enough mix on the pan to make a small pancake as prep, pay close attention to the crispness of the edges for flipping.
- Keep pouring pancakes until there is no mix left - ideally pouring in thin layers and returning any excess to your jug/bowl.
Serves: 6 large crepes (maybe)/1L of mix
