Brownies
Ingredients
- 100g butter
- 25-40g cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 225g caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 50g self-raising flour
- Grease a shallow cake tin.
- Preheat the oven.
- Gently melt the the butter, stir in the cocoa until blended and set aside.
- Mix the eggs and sugar together until light and add the cocoa mixture.
- Add the vanilla essence.
- Sift in the flour and mix.
- Bake at 180 for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool in the tin for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
